FOLLOW BACK YOUR SEXUAL PAST?

We do it sometimes, even if it's unfounded we negotiate with insecurities. But what happens when we become vulnerable, yet again, and allow our emotions to see the person we love and loves us back?  We make our emotions "visible" because there's one out of two options, you doubt or you trust. In a society where social media is the pack leader and most of us follow, how do we control our emotions, our jealosy, especially when they are well founded?

How do we acknowledge old lovers? Do we accept the request and follow back our sexual past?

That old saying, "where there was fire, ashes remain" may not always be true. But one cannot ignore the question, what if? How does one welcome the past -sexual encounters and lovers- without wondering, questioning? There's a thin line between fantasizing with what was once a reality and the current reality.

Are we playing with fire and if so why are we?

We can try to direct these questions and find all sorts of answers or excuses. But is the answer to all of this really simple? Is it simply because we can?
