The United Nations (un.org) invites you to join the campaign, UNiTE to End Violence against Women on the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence. This is happening from November 25th (International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women) and ends on Human Rights Day, December 10th. According to UN, the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence Campaign is a time to inspire action to bring an end to violence against women and girls across the globe. This is in hopes to stop violence and put an end to tragedies such as the Mirabal sisters. You can join from anywhere by taking this campaign to your home, work, local businesses, wearing orange and placing flags and ribbons around your area. We can create change. Much has been achieved, but much more needs to be done, and it can be done... Your support counts. -Nicole Kidman
