If you are studying in a native english speaking country and english is not your native language, you’re going to have to show fluency. It’s not enough to just claim you can speak it either. You need proof. For that, you will be expected to take the IELTS exam. IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System. It is the most popular exam that universities across the world to test an applicant's fluency in English. We suggest that you research how to take this test and start studying for it. If you don’t get a good grade, you won’t be able to apply as a potential candidate.

Make Friends Before You Go
If you know other people who are going to your chosen uni, it’s important that you try to make friends. It will be a lot easier if you have people you know before you start life over there.
