If you've ever suffered from weight problems and self esteem at some point in your lifetime, you have likely tried many avenues to get to a place where you feel happy and confident in your own skin. For those of you who have been through most diets, the exercise routines and still haven’t  
seen the desired results, there is a way to work through it to get to a place you're happy with. 

Dealing with weight gain can definitely be stressful and while we all fluctuate, sometimes too much weight can have an impact in our quality of life. ​

Here are some benefits to losing weight for a HEALTHIER YOU

Less stress on the bladder
One of the main benefits you will find after losing weight is that you won’t need to go to the toilet all the time anymore. When we have a lot of fat in the abdominal area it can be all too easy for us to struggle with incontinence. This can be an embarrassing subject and it is something none of us want to suffer, however it is common in those who are a little overweight. When you lose a couple of pounds you can finally say goodbye to these urges and it will be amazing.

Better posture and tone to abdomen
The most obvious benefit you will get from shedding the pounds or having a tummy tuck is the fact that you will have less weight around the stomach area and therefore it will look more toned and flat than it ever did before. One of the added benefits of a less weighed down tummy is the fact that your back will be stronger and your posture will be better. You might even grow in height an inch or town if you can straighten up more when you walk!

More confidence
While confidence is definitely a state of mind, feeling healthy does help reach a level of confidence. Reaching those healthy habits to exercising more often and keeping a balanced diet will help that wave of confidence. This is a wonderful benefit for your mind and it will make you feel like you're on top of your world.

The beauty of staying healthy is your mind will be better too and you'll feel happier and more confident. This helps keep the inspiration flowing where you can introduce good habits into your life to maintain your weight. Plus, when we exercise and maintain a healthy lifestyle our mood changes too! Once you find the healthy lifestyle that works for you, you'll find that it's a lot easier to manage.

Relief from hernias
If you have ever suffered from a hernia you will know that it can be one of the most painful things in the world. Doubling this up with a little fat around the tummy area and you will have so much pressure pushing out of the body that you won’t be able to move. Losing weight or having a surgical procedure can help to relieve a hernia and stop it from causing you more pain.

You made a good point when you shared that losing weight can be a good way to boost your confidence level as you feel healthy and happy with your body. My friend has been complaining about her size as she has gained a lot of weight ever since she delivered her son a few months ago and she can't seem to get back to her old body. I will suggest to her enrolling in a weight loss program so she can achieve her goal and feel confident again.

It's cool that you mention that losing weight can give you more self-confidence. I would like to feel more confident about my appearance, so I'm considering talking to a doctor about weight loss. I'm going to look for a good medical clinic in my area that offers weight-loss counseling services.

My aunt has been thinking about losing some weight because she wants to be more fit with fewer problems. She would really like to get some help from a professional in order to get the right kind of treatment. I liked what you said about how she can be more confident by shedding some pounds which can improve her posture.

I liked it when you said that one of the main benefits you will find after losing weight is that you won’t need to go to the toilet all the time anymore. My friend complains about her increasing weight. In my assessment, I think she is already beyond overweight. I will advise her to consult a bariatric weight loss surgery to get back to normal.
