Going to college can be one of the most exciting experiences of your life. Not only do you get to study your most favorite subjects, but there are also a fair few parties to go to as well! Plan it
One other best things you can do to have a successful student life is to get yourself a planner. In it, you can record your deadlines, classes, and even log your spending. So you will stay organized and on top of things.

Look after yourself
While college is all about having lot's of fun, you also need to make sure that you are getting enough down time as well. As they say, all work makes Jack a dull boy!

That means occasionally considering an early night. As well as making sure that you have healthy nutritious meals and get some exercise on a daily basis, and no dancing in the club doesn't count!

Don't ignore things
So as a student sometimes you can be so busy with everything that is going on it can be easy to ignore the problem that you are having. These could be financial problems, problems with your course, or roommates, or even emotional difficulties that you are suffering the first time now you are away from home.

But the key here is really to try and face your issues head on. So if you are struggling for money explore the options of student aid, quick loans available on the internet, or ask your parents for extra help.

Or if you are struggling with your studies make an appointment to see your professor and ask for some guidance. After all, that is what they are paid for! 

Study is important 
Obviously, the primary reason that you are at college is to study so this should be pretty high on your list of priorities too. But slogging away at the books for hours on end isn't always the best way to get things done. 

In fact, it's actually important to work smarter and not harder when it come to academic work. That means using clever techniques like spraying perfume on your notes and wearing the same one to the exam. Or making flash cards as you finish each module, so revision is a breeze, instead of leaving it all to the last minute. 

Fun is important too 
But don't forget to have some serious fun either! You can do this by enjoying social time with your friends, join a sorority, or become a member of club where people share similar interests. Remember college is a time to meet new people and broaden your horizons so get out there and enjoy it.
