THREE-MINUTE "MINI-NOVELA" SERIES – LAS PRINCESAS AND ITS COMEDY SPINOFF OFF SCRIPT available on xfinity

NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations Team Up with Comcast's XFINITY to create first-of-its-kind Spanish and English language series. 

Offering bilingual and bicultural viewers an immersive entertainment experience.

The scripted “mini novela” Las Princesas and its semi-scripted comedy spinoff, Off Script are now available on XFINITY. The promotional spots for the “mini-novela” and comedy series aired on select NBC and Telemundo markets, but the full, three-minute episodes are be available on XFINITY.com/Latino and XFINITY On Demand. Each series will offer bilingual and bicultural viewers compelling story lines while highlighting the strength and flexibility of XFINITY’s X1platform. Viewers will be able to watch promotional spots for Las Princesas and Off Script on their local Telemundo and NBC stations during primetime.

A modern Cinderella tale with a twist, Las Princesas tells the story of two young women whose dreams are at peril because they are stuck living in a cruel household ruled by a controlling matriarch, Señora Dolores Villanueva (Sonya Smith). Las Princesas features the romance, heroism, suspense and memorable characters that novela fans demand, while seamlessly integrating XFINITY X1 features into the storylines of the 20-episode “mini-novela” series. Viewers will be able to watch the promotional spots for Las Princesas on the local Telemundo stations located in the following markets: Miami (WSCV), Houston (KTMD), Chicago (WSNS), Washington, D.C. (WZDC), Atlanta (WKTB), West Palm Beach (WSCV-D4) and Fort Myers-Naples, Florida (WWDT).

​Off Script, the English-language comedy spinoff of Las Princesas, provides viewers with a comedic, behind-the-scenes look at everything that happens when the novela cameras stop rolling. The 12 fast-paced, three-minute episodes of Off Script share the story of Emily Frankel (Manon Mathews), an anxiety-stricken English-language producer whose big break is overseeing the production of Las Princesas. With a gifted ensemble of improvisational actors, the series follows Emily’s bumpy ride to success and possible romance, while working in the drama-filled and flashy novela world. The NBC stations that will air the sneak peeks for Off Script are located in the Chicago (WMAQ), Washington, D.C. (WRC), Atlanta (WXIA), Houston (KPRC), Miami-Fort Lauderdale (WTVJ), West Palm Beach-Fort Pierce (WPTV) and Fort Myers-Naples, Florida (WBBH) markets.
