'THE PASSION' LIVE MUSICAL COMING TO FOX ON PALM SUNDAY

Live MUSICAL OF 'THE PASSION' WITH KNOWN ARTISTS AND MUSIC PRODUCERS. wILL yOU bE wATCHING? 

Written by Peter Barsocchini (High School Musical), The Passion tells the 2000-year-old story of the last hours of Jesus Christ’s life on earth through passages from the Bible and a variety of popular music, sung by the cast, and arranged specifically for this event by executive producer and music producer Adam Anders (who you may recall from Glee and Rock of Ages).

Singer/songwriter and actor Jencarlos Canela has been cast in the role of Jesus Christ and Chris Daughtry (singer) has been tapped to play the disciple Judas. Canela and Daughtry previously announced host and narrator Tyler Perry and cast members Prince Royce (as disciple Peter) and Trisha Yearwood (as Mary, the mother of Jesus).

This live musical will take place in New Orleans while featuring a procession of hundreds of people carrying a 20-foot, illuminated cross from outside the Superdome to the live stage at Woldenberg Park on the banks of the Mississippi River. It's all happening on Palm Sunday, March 20th 8pm to 10pm on FOX.
