"Paso por Paso, Brick by Brick" Emily Alabi is 'Creating her own Happiness'

Emily Alabi is walking her path in the entertainment industry. An actress and award-winning celebrity dancer, Alabi is known for her collaborations with Jennifer Lopez, Selena Gomez, Sofia Vergara, Marc Anthony and Jon Favreau. She's performed for audiences all over the world and has been featured on America's Got Talent, So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing with the Stars, Disney's Austin and Ally, and CW's Jane the Virgin.

Most recently, she's guest starring on new episodes of Magnum P.I. and The Rookie.  

“I want to be an example, an example that despite your circumstances you can be and do all that you choose to. My upbringing included a high school where you had to walk through metal detectors and an environment where you had to constantly look over your shoulder. Where I am today is a result of simply not giving up and never letting the world tell me what or who I can be. We all start somewhere but where we end is up to us. Paso por paso, brick by brick, we can all create our own happiness,” says Alabi.

Emily Alabi (pronounced AH-LAH-BEE) is recurring and 'Top of Show' guest star roles on ABC's The Rookie, CBS' Magnum PI, CBS' NCIS, Hulu's Marvel's Runaways, and MTV's Teen Wolf.

Additional credits include, supporting lead in Lifetime's The Christmas Edition and Blending Christmas, a romantic comedy starring Haylie Duff.

With 8 championship titles under her belt, Emily is an award-winning salsa dancer and known throughout the world as part of the dynamic brother and sister duo, Junior and Emily. In addition to being a decorated salsa dancer, Emily is also an accomplished choreographer. Her most recent work can be seen on Netflix's Selena: The Series.

Emily has dedicated her life to inspiring and motivating the people around her. She has partnered with several non-profit organizations and has given advisory speeches to new generations following in her footsteps.
