For the first time, the Saint Seiya saga is coming to the big screen in live action, and we've got the details. Based on the international anime sensation, Knights of the Zodiac, this live action saga already has fans lining up for advance tickets. Toei Animation and Stage 6 Films (a Sony Company) revealed a new Knights of the Zodiac training clip and announced that advance tickets are now on sale for the anticipated first chapter of the Saint Seiya saga. In the new clip where you can see Seiya (Mackenyu) as he is beginning his training with a masked mentor, Marin (Caitlin M. Hutson)- will he finally untap the full potential of his secret mystical powers? If he’s to survive, he will need to embrace his destiny and sacrifice everything to take his rightful place among the Knights of the Zodiac. Knights of the Zodiac cast features Mackenyu, Famke Janssen, Madison Iseman, Diego Tinoco, Mark Dacascos, Nick Stahl, and Sean Bean. Directed by Tomek Baginski with screenplay by Josh Campbell & Matt Stuecken and Kiel Murray; based on original stories and characters from The Manga “Saint Seiya” by Masami Kurumada. The PG-13 film will be released in theaters in the US on May 12 by Toei Animation and Stage 6 Films (a Sony company) and is slated to release as Los Caballeros del Zodiaco in Latin America on April 27 through Sony Pictures.
