Filmmaker Katrina Cebreiro Releases Film, 'Church Camp'

Church Camp is a film by Katrina Cebreiro starring Nova Jones, David Sasik, and Erick Mcallister. Executive produced by Diana Cebreiro and Mabel Escalante, Church Camp tells the story of a rebellious teenage girl who is sent to church camp. 

Church Camp was selected by Indie Night Film Festival to screen at the Legendary Chinese Theatre.

On the Filmmaker:
After graduating with her B.A. in Cinema and Television Arts, Katrina continued her studies and completed her MFA in Screenwriting at CSUF. Writer and director, Cebreiro has also worked as 

an actress and has worn many hats in the industry allowing her to explore and fully learn the craft. Her passion for filmmaking is evident as she continues to create content and tell stories with her company, Cebreiro Kreative Productions.

"During my undergrad, I began my career in the entertainment industry with an internship at NBC KMIR 6 News. After that I interned at PBS and Conan. I went on to work for TMZ, Warner Bros, and the Daniel Hoff Agency. Most recently, I worked as a Director's Assistant on Southland starring Bella Thorne. Now I am pursuing my own endeavors as a writer/director."  -KC

We have no doubt this filmmaker, who happens to be a strong and dynamic woman, will continue to surprise us with great storytelling. We will be seeing more of this Iconic Chica!
