The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash! opens on March 27, bringing all-new tech-savvy ride based on Illumination’s blockbuster The Secret Life of Pets films, which answer the question, “What are your pets really doing when you’re not at home?”

The entertaining new ride features original voice talent from The Secret Life of Pets films who will unleash their animal instincts to reprise their roles for this exciting theme park attraction. The talent and their alter egos include Patton Oswalt as Max,

Kevin Hart as Snowball, Eric Stonestreet as Duke, Jenny Slate as Gidget, Tiffany Haddish as Daisy, Lake Bell as Chloe, Dana Carvey as Pops, Chris Renaud as Norman, Hannibal Buress as Buddy, Bobby Moynihan as Mel, and Jessica DiCicco as Princess.

The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash! is a heartfelt experience that transforms guests into stray puppies as they journey from to become loved and adopted. After all, adoption day is the ultimate rite of passage for every domesticated animal and, as such, the perfect theme of this engaging new ride as these beloved puppies find their forever homes.

Combining 64 technologically-advanced animated figures, The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash! invites guests to meet some of their favorite characters from the movies, who themselves have transformed into dimensional beings. From blinking eyes to eye and eyebrow movements, from head tilts to head nods, from moving mouths to smiles, from ear curls to lip curls, from full torso twists to physically walking, the depth of mobility and function programmed within each of these loveable characters creates an experience unlike any other theme park ride.

With the addition of hyper-realistic media and projection mapping, this impressive new ride is designed to fully immerse guests in a dynamic New York City landscape. Seated within ride vehicles that resemble cardboard boxes—reminiscent of where Katie first finds her beloved Max as a puppy—guests will travel along a track towards the Pet Adoption event and the ultimate happy ending: forever homes.

The ride will feature state-of-the-art optical enhanced gesture-tracking technology, which helps to identify each guest as a unique stray puppy for the duration of the ride. With an option to be transformed into one of 15 stray puppies, guests will enjoy a unique experience each time they ride The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash!

Virtual Line technology is another component of the experience, designed to help guests maximize their leisure time at the theme park. Guests can access Virtual Line via the official Universal Studios Hollywood app, available for free in the App Store and on Google Play or they can visit the Virtual Line kiosk located in the New York City subway station, situated adjacent to the ride. Both provide guests with options to experience the ride based on the next available times and will available to guests within the theme park as needed.

Virtual Line complements the ride’s non-traditional queue which invites guests to explore the area at their leisure and freely roam the ride’s corridors—reminiscent of Katie’s NYC apartment building—explore dachshund Buddy’s apartment, Snowball owner Molly’s living room as well as Max and Duke’s apartment, until they reach the ride’s boarding station.

The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash! will be located on Pets Place, previously referred to as Baker Street, and adjacent to the popular Despicable Me Minion Mayhem and Super Silly Fun Land attractions. Disney to Release 'Hamilton', the Film of the Original Broadway Production

The Walt Disney Company, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jeffrey Seller, and Thomas Kail are pleased to announce an agreement for the worldwide distribution rights that will bring the 11-time-Tony Award-, Grammy Award®-, Olivier Award- and Pulitzer Prize-winning stage musical to cinema screens. The film will be released by The Walt Disney Studios in the United States and Canada on Oct. 15, 2021.

Producers for Hamilton, the film of the original Broadway production, include Miranda, Seller, and Kail, who also directs.

The film of the original Broadway cast performing Hamilton is a leap forward in the art of "live capture." This movie transports its audience into the world of the Broadway show in a uniquely intimate way. Combining the best elements of live theater and film, the result is a cinematic stage performance that is a wholly new way to experience Hamilton.

The original Broadway cast appearing in the film include Tony Award winners Lin-Manuel Miranda as Alexander Hamilton; Daveed Diggs as Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson; Renée Elise Goldsberry as Angelica Schuyler; Leslie Odom, Jr. as Aaron Burr; Tony Award nominees Christopher Jackson as George Washington; Jonathan Groff as King George; Phillipa Soo as Eliza Hamilton; and Jasmine Cephas Jones as Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds; Okieriete Onaodowan as Hercules Mulligan/James Madison; and Anthony Ramos as John Laurens/Philip Hamilton.

Bravo’s 'Top Chef' Food & Wine Festival

Universal Studios Hollywood announces the roster of Top Chef alumni participating in its first-ever Bravo’s Top Chef Food & Wine Festival along with a first look at some of the appetizing dishes guests will have the chance to sample at the event taking place on March 19-20.

Top Chef alum and Fan Favorite Chef Shirley Chung is at the helm collaborating with Universal Studios Hollywood’s

Chefs on a specially-curated, eclectic menu inspired by the Emmy and James Beard Award-winning Bravo series. Cheftestants from the upcoming Top Chef Season 17 – All Stars LA participating in the festival include Eric Adjepong, Jennifer Carroll, Stephanie Cmar, Lisa Fernandes, Kevin Gillespie, Jamie Lynch, Brian Malarkey, andJoe Sasto. Additional names will be announced at a later date.

Sample menu items featuring cuisines from around the world and inspired by the series include, Roasted Red Snapper with Green Tomato Salsa Verde, Lechon with Papaya Pico di Gallo, Drunken Doughnuts with Champagne Raspberry Jam, Yuzu Aguachile with Dragonfruit & Avocado and Liquid Nitrogen Chocolate Mousse. The all-inclusive event will feature a selection of fine wines, craft beers and specialty cocktails curated for the festival. A variety of vegan and vegetarian dishes will also be available.

The two-day, separately-ticketed event takes place at Universal Studios Hollywood and offers general admission, day/night combo tickets and VIP ticket options, which is currently sold out due to popular demand. The event is open to guests ages 21 and over.

The Global Film Festival presents a selection of the best international, dramatic and documentary films to enrich the country's film culture and to bring the seventh art into all sectors of Dominican society. The Festival contributes to raising awareness and understanding of global issues through stories about events and people that have left a mark on our lives. It uses film as a way to promote and encourage discussion about social issues, politics and economics.

"It has always been a dream of mine to take all the knowledge, experience, and industry contacts I have acquired from my many years in Hollywood being a working actor, writer, and producer, and make successful film projects in the country where my family is from, and I have been visiting since I was a child. The people, the culture, the energy I have always loved. My goal is to give back by bringing work to my people with the films I plan to make and bring more awareness around the world about how beautiful the Dominican

Republic is, and the tax incentives that are available. I am dedicating my first of many film projects in the DR to my grandmother who recently passed away in August, one month short of her 106th birthday."

Arroyo is an award-winning actor, writer, and producer with over 80 film and TV commercial credits. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Screenwriting, Producing & Directing from The Los Angeles Film School. His recent credits include the main lead roles and producer on three feature films. A dramatic true story film titled The Last Smile (a multiple festival award winner including Best Actor & Best Film), a suspense police thriller titled Branded, and a romantic comedy titled Switched at Love.

Arroyo is a series regular on the TV series titled Sangre Negra. Soon to be seen on the El Rey Network where he plays Detective Christian Santos of the Los Ángeles Police Department. Sangre Negra also stars actor Erik Estrada who plays Arroyo's father. www.sangrenegratheseries.com
