Valentine's Day Date Ideas She Will Adore

Valentine’s day is considered the most romantic day of the year and it’s only just over a week away. Happy couples will soon start to buy and order cards and gifts that show their partner how much they care about them. This is traditionally followed by a romantic meal in a restaurant surrounded by other couples. While there is nothing wrong with planning this kind of date for your wife or girlfriend, why not make it even more personal and special.

To help you make this Valentine’s day one to remember, use these ideas to inspire you.

Plan a spa day at home
Your special lady deserves to be pampered. So why not create a home spa so you can spend your Valentine’s day relaxing. Buy candles and make sure your home is spotless to create that spa-like feel. Create a hamper that is full of body lotions, face masks and hair products that you can both use throughout the light. Also, get slippers and robes for you both to slip into for maximum comfort. Practise your massage technique beforehand and give her a well-deserved massage on her back, neck or feet. She can then return the favour and give you a massage in return. Turn your phones off and just enjoy being in one another's company.

Go on a road trip
Road trips are a brilliant choice for a Valentine’s day to remember because they feel more like a mini holiday. This is often a better option if you have been together for a long time and know each other inside out. It might be a little unnerving for your partner if you haven’t known each other very long and could scare her off. You could plan a road trip that allows you both to visit multiple locations or one location in particular. Think about places she may have mentioned in the past that she has always wanted to visit, such as Blackpool or London for instance. You can then research things to do in Blackpool or anywhere else she might like to visit to find activities you would both enjoy. To give it an extra special touch, make some clues for her to open that will hint at where you are travelling to. Also, make sure she packs the right kind of shoes and clothing to suit the activities you have planned.

Get crafty
If your lady loves getting crafty, then why not plan a night of arts and crafts. You could make a cute album together that you can put all your favourite photographs in. Or you could customise a piece of one another’s clothing. While you may end up with some hilarious results, it will be fun getting creative together. You may even realise how enjoyable crafts can be and your wife or girlfriend may be able to teach you a few new skills. Use Pinterest to find some fun and easy craft ideas you could try. Also, buy all the materials you need and some snacks you can enjoy as you make.
These Valentine’s day date ideas are bound to be a success. There’s still time to plan something spectacular so get organised and start planning today.
