Two Chins: How To Beat Sub-Mental Fat

For most women, it’s hard to exude confidence when there is a problem with their face. After all, it’s the first thing anyone notices when they see you in public. So, the double chin phenomenon is something which keeps us awake at night. There you are, minding your business when an Instagram post takes you by surprise. Is that how my chin looks?!
Sub-mental fat isn’t nice but it doesn’t have to last forever. Thankfully, it is possible to get rid of the excess with the following solutions. Then, your self-esteem will shoot through the roof and you’ll never have avoid flossing on the ‘Gram again.
Skin Tightening
In your 20s, skin woes aren’t a thing because the body’s collagen levels are high. Then, as you get into your 30s, they start to drop off and flaws begin to show. A scientifically proven way to erase a double chin is to boost the amount of collagen, but it’s difficult to do. Thankfully, the right medical aesthetics can turnover the cells so that the skin gets tighter. Everything from IPL to Kybella works well, yet infrared rays are the most effective. The heat applied to the chin seems to encourage the body to produce more of the hormone, especially when the upper area is cold.

Natural Remedies
Plenty of organic ingredients have properties which can help you get rid of a double chin. Egg whites, for example, are full of protein so they encourage the body to repair broken down cells. They also contain vitamins that have skin tightening properties. Wheat germ oil is another product which should reduce the impacts of a double chin over time. All you have to do is apply these remedies to the area on a daily basis and leave them to soak in. Be patient because the results won’t be instantaneous as these are long-term options.

Facial Exercises
You may workout a lot, but how often do you exercise your face? It’s a serious question because lifting weights at the gym isn’t going to target the problem area. To move the fat from your chin, it’s important to exercise your features and get them to burn calories. A fantastic tip is to tilt your head back, push out your lower jaw and stick your tongue to your lower gum. Hold this for ten seconds and repeat three to four times. There are plenty more if you need inspiration.

Massage
A massage seems self-indulgent as you spend one hour lying down as someone gently relaxes your face. However, the truth is that it can be an excellent way to improve blood circulation to your chin thanks to the friction. This is important as the rush of blood to the head should remove the fatty deposits, thus eliminating the double chin. Obviously, the massage has to be above the neck as it won’t work otherwise. A full body workover is cheating!

Finally, you can always use Photoshop to make sure your Insta posts are picture perfect. You know, while you come up with a solution.
