Escorted to an elevator - one that was decked out with colorful chalk writing predicting a good night was about to commence - I checked in and walked into a room filled with powerful women. Greeted by gentlemen holding up two trays of wine, I opted for a glass of red and took a lap around the room. Females of all backgrounds were experiencing makeovers by talented artists, conversing with one another and sharing their Power Move. There was no doubt in my mind that the working women of this generation have not only evovolved, but are joining forces to help one another. Makeovers and free headshots were followed by a Q&A session of female leaders. A panel of powerful women answered questions on how to improve your career while still feeling and looking the part.
A woman's image should not have to suffer while on the move for a powerful career.
