PAPA: HEMINGWAY IN CUBA,
THE FIRST american film in fifty years
A young journalist from the Miami Herald became friends with Ernest and Mary Hemingway. He witnessed Hemingway's fall into depression and alcoholism. All during the cuban Revolution.
Papa is the first film in Hollywood filmed in Cuba since the revolution in 1959. The film marks decisive moments in which director Bob Yari and his international team filmed, almost at its entirety around La Habana, Cuba.
A cultural story by an american director with Hollywood actors. A film of such importance has not been produced in Cuba in over 50 years.
