Downtown independent was HOME TO 'REVERSION'S' WORLD PREMIERE

Looking flawless from head to toe, star Aja Naomi King walked the red carpet, all smiles with the cast. Joining her in support was her How to Get Away With Murder co-star, Jack Falahee. He shared a post on Instagram later that night saying, "SO proud of this lady! @ajanaomi_king crushed it in REVERSION. Watch out World."

Also on the red carpet, in support of Reversion, were stars like Rosie Rivera, CEO of Jenni Rivera Entertainment and LPGA Golfer, Lizette Salas. We got a chance to catch up with her and she told us about her partnership with Toyota, who also sponsored the film. "I think Toyota being part of the film in every aspect really says a lot about their company and their brand. I think that's why I wanted the partnership with them. Just because they believed in zero restrictions regardless of

your background, regardless regardless of where you come from. And to be here supporting my hispanic community, it's really important that we stick together," said Lizette. While she's been playing golf for nineteen years, Salas admits success has not been without hard work and perseverance. She told us, having positive people around to reinforce you is important. "Everything has its time. My dad has always said that everything will happen at the right moment and you have to be patient. You have to have complete faith in yourself, have the faith in the people around and know that it will happen."

Director, Jose Nestor Marquez, who also co-wrote the film shared a few words on the big night. "We already have all these doubts and concerns... There's a lot of anxiety about how it is that technology is changing the way that we interact with each other. At the same time you realize that smartphones have only been around for about five or six years, so we've got another ten, fifteen, twenty years, thirty years. That's basically the starting point of this movie, what happens as these technologies become more personal and they start to really change the way we relate to each other."

As the questions for the film arise and we begin to make assumptions on what we would or wouldn't if we had access to more technology, Reversion gives us a glimpse of what it could be, helping us ask the right questions. If you could control memories, feel memories, erase memories, would you?

Reversion opens in select theaters October 9th.

    "Live"

    Think of the painted lady.
Its short lived life is colorful,
    It's bright.
    Unless interrupted, it carries on.
    It flies...

Fulfilling its one and only short lived life. "
