Follow N.W.A.'s Lyrics and Sound with 'Straight Outta Compton's' DVD & Blu-Ray Release

The perfect tagline to describe Straight Outta Compton. With over $56 million just on opening weekend, the group that changed history told their story in the big screen. Now we get a chance to own a copy of the film including extra material only available on Blu-Ray and DVD. "What people gotta recognize is that we [are] artists... We ['re] looking to do music," explains Ice Cube in an interview available with the DVD/Blu-Ray release. The producers and filmmakers talk about their journey as artists and seeing it all projected onto the big screen, and played by a cast overflowed with talent. The release of the Blu-ray and DVD includes behind the scenes footage on the making of the film, interviews, a never before seen performance, and the unrated director's cut.
